Lynn Ragan - Office of Elder
Counselor to the Pastor
Alaska Congregation

I started my formal ministry in the church holding the office of Deacon at the age of 13. I found the office to be full of ministry and outreach possibilities and served passionately. The Kansas City Stake Zion's League (high school age youth group) elected me president for over 125 active youth in which I served my senior year of high school.
I served as Deacon until I was called to Elder in my mid-twenties. I completed college with a degree in Music Composition and along the way discovered my family roots within Native American culture.  I served on the World Church advisory committee for Native American Ministries.  I have taught church school classes on Scripture, Prayer, history of theological music, and various Temple School classes such as "The Deacon".

I have been a co-pastor and a counselor to the pastor in two states, and am currently serving as counselor to the pastor at Alaska congreation. Recently I have taught an adult scripture class focusing and disciplines of prayer.   I am married and have two children. I continue to draw upon my muic background, the influences of my Native American  culture, and the support of my family to provide such ministry as I am able.  All my efforts for the honor and glory of the Holy Creator who made us all and gifted us with the ministry of His Son, Jesus Christ.

May God Bless your homes, families, and relations.
